Caption Of Artwork: What happens when an important person in your life doesn’t allow you a voice? Pent up fury, that’s what. The word “intolerant” – which this important person labelled me with – has long lurked in the back of my mind; now it’s upfront, giving me the voice that I didn’t have in the moment.

This piece of art is my way to regaining power in a belittling situation. It’s for all the people who have ever been made to feel the way I did. I am sorry for what you’ve been through and I hope this piece makes you feel something.
