Battle Angel: Jhansi Ki Rani

At the darkest hour of the night,

When shadows danced and played,

In my mind a vision appeared - a queen of valor and fearlessness,

She asked me to serve the nation, with courage and might,

To fight for our freedom, and shine as a knight.

With sword in hand and head held high,

Become a courageous warrior like her, a nation to deify.

With love and pride, a flag to raise,

Forever released from the British raj’s chains.

Just like how she rode her steed to victory,

And inspired many more,

To fight for their land and country,

And the nation's proud lore.

And so, the story of Rani Lakshmi Bai,A queen who fought for freedom, till her final day.

Her courage and spirit will forever live on,

An example of bravery and unwavering resilience to the world and beyond.

Not only was she brave, but she wore her heart right on her sleeve,

Offering her kindness to people like you and me.

And with her spirit guiding me,

I shall face any challenge with never ending courage.

Till the day I leave this world behind, under an oath I’ll stay: 

To fortify our nation from harm in any way,

Just like you did in 1857 mutiny, 

Showed our country the excellence of unity.\
