Balance Of Emotions

Learn to balance your emotions

Feed them only the right-sized potions

If overdone, it creates chaos in the brain

A torrent of feelings like thunder with rain

Happiness is like a bright sunshine

It lifts us up, makes worries decline

But if we get too lost in its bubble

We fail to notice lingering trouble

Anger is like a fire that burns hot and bright

It makes us fight the wrong, stand for the right

But if it goes wild and breaks out of control

It builds a wall around and isolates the soul

Love is like a river stream that flows unceasingly

It teaches us to share and care unconditionally

But clutching too tightly, with no freedom at hand

Drives loved ones away, like footprints in sand

Sadness is like a rain that falls from sky

It washes out pain as the teardrops fly

But if it’s allowed to transform to a flood

It drowns will power and enfeebles the blood

Fear is like a whispering shadow of night

It guides our senses and guards us tight

But if it grows grander and freezes you still

It cages the courage and weakens the will
