Baggage Claim

i am claimed 

baggage by myself 

i am worthy 

of being pulled from the carousel spinning me round and round i am full and useful 

on my own two wheels 

a feat of valuables 

i can do that 

for myself- handled 

i am strong and sturdy 

encased even when 

i stumble- rock 

and roll- hard shell 

soft interior 

clothered 

and armoured 

i am important 

i carry me 

away from the 

turnstill 

cycles and the 

painful thumps of 

other baggage 

hitting on me 

as i roll through.
