i knew i needed to

leave you

the butterflies weren’t there

my skin would crawl when

i was around you

my chest would tighten

my throat would close

i couldn’t breathe nor

could i function

i needed to get

out

at first i thought

leaving you behind was the best

decision i could’ve made

but you tore every single

part of me to shreds

of course you did,

you already broke me,

what should stop you from

breaking me even more?

i mean, you’re the one who said that i was

you tried winning me back by

saying i ruined your life one second,

the next saying you needed me,

then saying i was a liar,

and last saying you loved me

you loved me?

oh, please

all you love is torturing me
