Autumn Woods

By Amberdeep Kaur

Wandering through the woods,

Exhaling on my own

Right and left ways,

Suddenly felt alone

The autumn woods have been my home

Red, Orange maples all around me

Stream flowing within,

Rejoice me

However, time flies

Pearls in cold falling on my hut,

Playful squirrels are taking rest

Birds chirped often

Now I sing

Made my own songs

The blanket of snow, Hug of cold

Being cosy in fire

Is enjoyable after all
