Autumn

By Akshay Khandekar

The night's getting longer,

The day's more precious,

Spectrum's now Gyor,

Leaves precarious!

It's still warm and humid,

A preset to cold,

Swinging on moods,

The soul's too old!

As gatherers start planning,

Prepping for the nights long,

Questioning my choices,

One is trying to stay strong!

Though tough it all is,

There's still hope at the far end,

All pieces shall fit the puzzle,

There's a beginning at every end!

Wandering the streets for routine,

Pondering over it all,

As autumn seeps in,

The leaves freely fall!
