Aurora

You’re the aurora lights to my darkness,

The magic phenomenon I never thought I’d see.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience,

Meant to forever be.

And while you do your soul searching,

I wait patiently.

Patience isn’t my strength

But for you, I’ll make it be

You’re the first sunrise on a magic day,

The butterflies in the air.

The smell of sweet jasmine,

The flowers in my hair.

I know it’ll take some time,

For you to realise.

I’ll sit here waiting patiently,

For the day, I can call you mine.
