At Love's Foot

"In tales of old, where stories unfold,

Kings and their dreams, love stories retold.

I used to hear those tales so bright,

But her beauty made everything right.

Tiny bells sing with each step she takes,

A love story told in the quiet lakes.

I'd be that anklet with a joyful role,

Dancing with her, heart and soul.

I want to be her slipper, steadfast and true,

Walking with her, whatever we go through.

In the journey of love, step by step,

A slipper's embrace, no secrets kept.

By the shore, where the waves kiss the sand,

Her feet in the water, like love, so grand.

I want to be the water, a gentle kiss,

Embracing her foot, in moments of bliss.

Her foot in the sea, a moment so sweet,

I'd be the water, dancing at her feet.

Simple and short, like a love song,

In her world, where I belong."
