Arts of Poetry and Pottery

By Shriram Venkatachalapathy

Writing great poetry is akin

To baking pottery in a kiln.

Clay spins into pottery,

Wordplay into poetry.

They are natural crafts,

Not refined from drafts.

Both arts are creative,

Cognitive and emotive.

Each of the art form

Has power to transform,

Only poetry can reform.
