Artless Alliteration

Actions aver a little,

And anima hides a lot,

Acumen is addled,

And awaits their accord.

Antinomy is amplified,

And argillaceous affectations arise,

Anfractuosity accrues ailments,

And anima runs amok.

It yearns for ataraxia,

like an athirst arroyo yearns for aqua.

Albeit what it yearns amounts to more than an arm and a leg,

An article that neither affluence nor influence can buy.

As it asks for absence of affectations,

A gamble, not anyone can take.

As artlessness attracts ambush of ambience,

and all that survives is nothing but fake.
