Anxiety

My hands shake

My throat closes

My chest hurts

Anxiety

Why does my stomach hurt?

Was that on my body before?

Am I going to die?

Anxiety

I am crying

I cannot stop

I feel trapped

Jesus

He tells me to not be afraid,

That this will soon pass,

That they are just thoughts

Jesus

He calms me

He wraps His arms around me

He saves me

Jesus

I will not be afraid

I know who I am,

And I know He has a plan for me
