And The Robin Flew

So high you see , the Robin Flew,

It’s wings unclipped and soul so fresh.

Can you catch a glimpse of it?

Soaring high , piercing it’s wings into the sky.

Oh Why dear bird?

May I but ask you?

Have you not stayed with me?

Well-fed, well kept yet what’s the reason?

My master ,I cannot simply cope,

With love ,being ruled by you or a pope.

For me, to be free is to fly,

To never return and pass by!

Your favors so huge ,I cannot return.

Yet my heart pounds to see the open sky,

To me it is everything.

Love to me is to be let out,

Never ask nor shout.

For you humans, have emotions mixed,

The more you damage, the less you fixed!

My tiny body and timid heart,

Prepares silently to depart.

I wait by day and wait by night,

When the time to flee is right!

Your love and care is nothing less,

But you need freedom too nevertheless.

Wounds casted upon your heart,

Brought misery and grief part by part.

Chains unseen but love so strong,

Necklace that holds me back.

Its tough for me to decide,

Whether to stay or to ride.

Oh Robin! Do come here!

Without you, I have none dear.

My songs and poems all begin,

With your sweet lines once sung.

Oh Master! I shall not abide,

For now it’s my flight .

Long I stayed and made you smile,

Farewell now, for that’s my style.

Love is a trap, beware beware!

You cannot hurt yet you endure.

Pouring yourself but you remain empty,

A prisoned life with iron chains!

My bird, Fly! And Fly away high,

Now I shall not force your stay.

My soul shall grieve and heart will bleed,

To know you never loved me back!
