An Unwavering Testament

A cry, a laugh, in life’s grand weave,

The battles fought, the sparring bout,

Not all is loss, nor hearts that grieve,

Though shadows cast their lingering doubt.

My life grows hard, yet you, the dawn,

Bring forth a smile, a guiding star,

Through tempest winds and battles drawn,

We’ve journeyed wide, we’ve journeyed far.

Un-romanticised, yet deeply spun,

In life’s vast sea, our spirits sail,

A friendship forged, two souls as one,

A testament when others fail.

Bound by threads of fate and time,

We celebrate this path we tread,

A timeless dance, in prose and rhyme,

In the warmth of words unsaid.

In trials fierce and moments rare,

Our bond, a beacon, steady, bright,

Through darkest nights and keen despair,

We hold each other in the light.

A love profound, beyond compare,

In silence deep, our hearts ignite,

Two wanderers, with fates to share,

In the glow of friendship’s light.
