An Ode to Him

To look at the night sky

Is to look into your eyes,

The darkest shade of black

Mellowed down by specks of light.

To look at the sun

Is to look into your soul,

The brightest element around

Radiating your warmth throughout.

To look at the rain

Is to look into your heart,

The calm after a storm

Pouring emotions which you hold.

To touch the ground

Is to touch your face,

The familiarity of every fragment

Welcoming every version of me.

To hold the trees

Is to hold your hand,

The rugged feel of them

Persevering the toughest challenges.

To love my existence

Is to love you,

The significant feeling of nirvana

Only when I am with you.

Hence, this is my ode to you.
