An Ode to Eco-Justice

In the ever expanding universe there is a planet so diverse

a garden planet, they say

yet turning grey day by day

Toxins and chemicals pollute the sea

destroying the future of our progeny

to care for the earth is a primordial virtue

but a utilitarian culture we pursue

Ecosystems are dying from time to time

and there’s no one there to stop the crime

the blame goes on and on

while the future of the Earth is almost gone

This is for the Earth, an SOS

to save it from this impending mess

the time has dawned for the human race

to promote a greener living space
