An Immortal Beauty

Authors write novels

on a captivating heart

like hers.

Poets scribble whimsy

in awe of her imagination,

never outgrown.

Artists etch precious matter

to narrowly capture glimpses

of her ineffable sublimity.

And yet, a new one.

A lover.

Humble and infatuated,

she is watched by her;

not observed but seen.

Her representation is everlasting

through the eyes of the creatives,

but her immortal beauty lasts

through the soul of the lover.
