An Evening Saffron Sky

Saffron colour spills

Across the evening sky

What a delight to watch

A saffron-painted sky!

Little stars peep in

Through the door of the night.

On this dark bedspread

Shining stars gently alight.

The hills stand

Steep, deep and so high,

Silently watch

This beautiful evening sky

The cool breeze

Touches the trees

Silence descends from the sky,

Nature relaxes and sleeps,

listening to a luring lullaby.

Such a blessing it is

To behold!

And to be there,

To watch this all passing by.

Saffron colour spills

Across the evening sky-

And in that radiance,

My heart becomes a saffron sky.
