An Envelope Of Aid

Are you there

Oh tiny little one

Shattered by shackles

And miseries of life

Are you there ,

Oh little one

Who dreamt in summer days

And crumbled in winter rains

Are you there ,

Oh little one

Who cheered in the day

And sobbed with life’s way

Are you there ,

Oh little one

Who I shield by my thoughts

And from all the imps of sinister sorts

Are you there ,

Oh little one

Whom I ask for forgiveness

As in the light of day

I became nothing but a dismay
