An Enchanting Soul to The Core
By Dominica J.S. Marbaniang
An enchanting soul to the core,
Oh most lovable being of all.
Without your existence, the heart sores,
Without you, love is all but a bore.
You are the Strongest,
You are the Best,
You are my Mother.
You are Irreplaceable,
You are Delightful,
You are Treasure.
For nine different months,
You carried me around.
No words of disgust nor displeasure,
But protected me like treasure.
In your precious womb,
I toppled and turned.
You whimpered for others to be heard,
But in soft and gentle words.
Into this world I am born,
Your heart melted,
Your eyes shone.
A close watch over me,
But with a heart of love and Intense warmth.
You watch over, you care,
You help me grow.
Words of wisdom you sow,
For a better tomorrow.
Yes, you are patient,
And to lose you I can't.
Precious, you truly are,
No other can outshine.
A reward for such a being,
Words themself defy.
But immense decency,
Is all I can comply.
