An Archer In a War

By Saswati Priyadarshini

Like a camera near the suspect,

An archer stays in his perspect.

Never he gets deviated from his goal,

Or let any negativity to affect.

A goal is the one for which he strives,

Starting from a breath till he thrives.

Not only in brain, but in his blood,

It is the only soul which always drives.

He stays calm in wars,

Becoming stronger from his scars.

Rather than repenting on the past,

He looks for new dreams in the stars.

A single minded focus is his treasure,

He tries hard but never due to pressure.

As he knows the power of practice,

Which can turn his wounds to pleasure.

That's the power of an archer,

To turn ash into a fantastic picture.

Not only he stays as a good disciple,

But also as a child of mother nature.
