An Anonymous Monster

I Wake up every morning with a fear in my heart, A fear of an anonymous monster playing the strings of my guitar, all my life I tried avoiding the tune, a tune that puts you in a gloom,

Don't know why, but I was scared,

in the midst of a crowd, I was lost again an anonymous monster stuck in my head

Snug in my deep dark soul, feels like he’s made a room for himself,

Making my fear his blanket and bed with the anxiety in my heart,

he got comfortable wrecking every piece of me apart

Don't know why, but it feels like he’s here to stay,

in the midst of a crowd, I was lost again an anonymous monster stuck in my head

He kept strangling me into the sorrow of darkness,

and I kept gasping for breath in the ray of hope

A voice from deep within kept telling me to run away, Don't know why, but I stopped again in the midst of a crowd, I was lost again

an anonymous monster stuck in my head

Seems like it was yesterday, a murky shadow following me all day, No courage to turn around, a vicious creature trying to pull me down, I felt a shiver down my spine, I strived to not give up all that while,

Don't know why, but I cried today,

in the midst of a crowd, I was lost again an anonymous monster stuck in my head

Standing tall hiding my chaos, I smile burying my fear, But at times I just want to disappear, wondering, why do I even exist here? Is it just me or even you feel the same, this feeling of dismay that never fades away,

Don't know why, but I think to myself, will this feeling ever come to an end?

in the midst of a crowd, I was lost again an anonymous monster stuck in my head.
