An Aerial Encounter

I thought , I scared them, again.

I move an atom and they seem so flustered.

I blink my eye and they’re filled with fear.

The power I hold for the moment

The sense of pride in a minute, captivates me,

Makes me blind,

To see the real image...

For they’re not fools!

They have their pigeon-brains

They know my presence unchanged

Still, they roam and gyrate

To sit at the sweet spot again.

They don’t fear me ,

They aren’t meek.

But , they do fear

The cruelty , inside of me

The temptation to pop the stone upwards

The intention is to seek the height?

That’s wrong

And it always, comes back

Not because of false intention or gravity or height

But because there’s a little flock of birds with little pigeon-feet

Playing football, shading me

That they don’t need a rubber ball to kick.
