Am I Safe?

By Prachi Tripathi

Jhansi ,the city of pride

In night there is another side

“Why are you going out”the argument came in

But always with a sigh we silently move out

She was just a kid who went to play

But who knew that it could be her last day

A one wrong turn on the path in night

And then she disappears from the sight

She was at hospital saving someone’s life

But did she knew that she could lose her life

Now always before stepping out

“Am I safe?” leaves a doubt
