Am I Really A Teacher?

Am I really a teacher?

Find myself abound with a peculiar feature.

The feature of letting the things go,

Just to play along with the current show.

I see the purpose of learning lost,

One yearns for an A+ at any cost.

Gone are the days when the young minds bore pain,

In the quest of the pearls of ultimate gain.

It's about convenience over excellence now,

A paradigm shift so smooth, Oh wow!

It all comes down to evolution,

The one and only feasible solution.

Guide only those who ask for the way,

The rest are as good as the dolls of clay.

I wander here unconvinced yet,

A seeker we are, how can one forget?
