Am I alone or lonely tonight?

The world looks strangely at me

They stare and wonder perhaps to see Or they look and don’t think kindly of me Probably I am blind, but I feel

The questions they don’t ask to scare me at night Cause the questions I ask are much heavy to reply I wave, I giggle, I nod, and I struggle

I pretend and care

I laugh and bear

No harm in meeting yet so much of lie

Covered in sheets, tears in eyes

I make her smile by patting on thigh

Take a deep breath and a long sigh

You got this girl

You will be fine

You will be fine
