All of my cribbing,

Needs only your ear.

All of my doubts,

Needs your explanations to clear.

My hair before sleep,

Needs the brushing of your hand.

My eyes on the wake,

Needs your face to land.

My forehead when upon I frown,

Needs your lips for the validation.

My heels stuck in the gown,

Needs your lifetime attention.

I want to be the one,

Who scolds you on the dining manners,

The one who holds you together,

In every small and big banters.

I want to be there

When you are giving your success speech,

And in the prayers, every time you preach.

I’ll cover you with blankets in midnight,

I’ll dismiss your thoughts,

When you doubt your might.

I’ll be the backbone to our plans in sight.

I’ll be the one holding your hand,

When you’d be in fright.

The one which you hide,

The one with which your heart resides,

The one where you cry in darkness,

The one where you gleam in brightness,

The one with the happiness or the blue,

All of me, needs all of you.
