Agniveer (अग्निवीर)

चल पड़ा एक राह पर, लिखने अपनी तकदीर|

मन में विश्वास हैं निडर, बनना हैं एक अग्निवीर||

हौसले हैं बुलंद, देश सेवा हैं मेरा जमीर|

जीतने की उमंग, बनना हैं एक अग्निवीर||

आँधियों से गुजरकर, तोड़ आया सारी जंजीर|

मुश्किलों से लड़कर, बनना हैं एक अग्निवीर||

हो बारिश-तूफान या धूप-छाँव, मैं हूँ जवान वीर|

अब नहीं थकेंगे ये पाँव, बनना हैं एक अग्निवीर||

मर मिटने देश के लिए, हैं समर्पित मेरा शरीर|

तिरंगे में लिपटने के लिए, बनना हैं एक अग्निवीर||

जय हिंद||

(The poem is based on the aspiration, ambition, hardships and tough recruitment conditions of an Agniveer aspirant for becoming an Indian Armed Forces Jawan. They sleep in rain, heat, storms or any condition during recruitment just to get selected from amongst thousands of aspirants to serve & die for our motherland. One of the toughest recruitment conditions in India amongst many competitive exams)

Picture clicked by me during Agniveer recruitment behind our house. They sat for hours even in Heavy rains without any roof above. Salute to their perseverance, ambition and courage.
