Against All Odds

I barricaded them

But they revolted

I walled them

But they smashed through it

I corrupted their minds

They broke through it...

I do not understand this species

Why are they so persistent on saving this miserable planet ?

It's the indomitable human spirit, said one of ours

What sort of ? I said

The sort of that would conquer

Mutilate

Humiliate

And torture

Just for the sake of one...

That's... The sort of people they are

They've conquered the genes of their bones themselves

They're beyond morality

They evolve, destroy and conquer

Even if at a less rate than ours

I asked the zyron ma,

She said, it's indeed their nature

I asked nature itself

She said it was indeed their nature

I asked God in the eye

But he said, they're my creation...

I do  know why, or how

I will never bend low

To such hairless preposterous apes

It's sickening to see them groveling

Even then they strive and survive

Cheer and kill

Holler and smear

End millions of ours on end

Even then i wonder...

Why...

Why don't they just give up ?!

In the end... I asked myself

Upon the deathbed of my own ship infront of a mere human

With just a single shell

And I said... It's indeed their nature

And God forbid but…

 I had lost...

It terrifies me, mother

It haunts me.
