Adding Up

No, I do not fear

My past, anymore.

All my mistakes

The betrayals

The heartbreaks

The trauma I got, I gave

The partings, the meetings

Of love lost and found

Errors of judgement

Actions borne out of sentiment

With surprise I see

Have added up, coalesced

To create today's me.
