Abyss

Save me from this abyss,

A hole made up of lies.

Where the truth is untold,

And no one can be bold.

Save me from this abyss,

To save me from the cries.

Take me to a place,

Where there are plenty of smiles.

Save me from this abyss,

A lonely cave of darkness.

Lure me into your embrace,

And shine light on my sorrowful face.

Save me from this abyss,

A place where people change,

No longer remaining the same.

Take me miles away,

Under the sun's rays.

Save me from this abyss,

A place where I can't bear to stay.

Pull me closer to you,

Away from dismay.

Save me from this abyss,

A place where I learn how to hate.

Even if it just was my fate,

To be stuck in this suffocating crate.

In the end,

All I want you to do,

Is to make me say,

"I love myself"
