she's an empty canvas

forever waiting to be painted

with colors of everything that resembles hope

the texture

the strokes

the painter's intentions

she doesn't demote herself to something

that can be measured

something that can be weighed

there's so much she wants to learn

so she takes the pallets searching for the color of promise

she begins to paint herself

because she is more than numbers

she is more than words

she is rhythm

she is art
