Absence

Your absence looms over like emptiness in dark shadows

Wonder how in moments faded the time of floating in the meadows

Like a bird with a broken wing struggling in the air

And then suddenly a gust of winds leaves you no where

Like from ether of clouds to the abyss of the earth

Like the moon in the sky vanished from my life the mirth

Your return is just a dangling faith of my heart

Or from this wretched end would happen a life affirming start

To which destiny I continue to live is still hazy as fog

No end to this clueless humans agog

Like two parallel tracks of the same journey guiding the same train

Trying to intersect in vain

As we walk side by side 

Though not in front of my eyes in my thoughts beloved I know you shall abide

Like the far spread sky probably carries the whole universe 

Yet can't touch the soil so is its adverse

Together yet not, near yet far

A tale of a speck and a star

The speck one of a million on the sand

And the star one of a million speck on a faraway land
