Abondoned in the backyard 

Is a masterpiece of a nerd

Hanging lonely on a wire 

The nest of a weaver bird 


Once, full of life 

It was frequently visited 

It used to move to and fro 

So much hardship was invested 


Now it's just there lifeless 

No-one checked, no one interested 

What went wrong is a quest 

Did no one ever appreciated 


The bird has totally detached 

From it's once dwelling place 

It's skills were so unmatched 

But it left to find solace 


Wish I could be like the bird

I could simply free myself 

From the desires of the body and world 

To find comfort in my true self
