Abondoned

Abondoned in the backyard

Is a masterpiece of a nerd

Hanging lonely on a wire

The nest of a weaver bird

Once, full of life

It was frequently visited

It used to move to and fro

So much hardship was invested

Now it's just there lifeless

No-one checked, no one interested

What went wrong is a quest

Did no one ever appreciated

The bird has totally detached

From it's once dwelling place

It's skills were so unmatched

But it left to find solace

Wish I could be like the bird

I could simply free myself

From the desires of the body and world

To find comfort in my true self
