Oh! Fairest lily enthroned on my black marble sill

Profound peace in the putrid air you lavishly fill

Besotted with your elegance, in awe, I remain still

Revving up my spirit that was once so frozen chill

To life’s mundane yoke and care that ain’t light or brill

Wahoo! Behold, you bring a new zeal to my restored will -

Vibing to do the roughest and treacherous path up the hill 

Yeah, you instil a tranquil mind that so yearns to skill

Abide with me, ‘My sweet Lil’

Abide with me, ‘My fairest Lil’!
