aaj phir yun hi tu yaad aaya

jaise lambi jaraaon ke baad dhoop ye bikhar

soye inn baadalon ko jaga gayi

vaise hi yaadein ye teri lambe arse ke baad

dil mein kahin toh hallar macha gayi…


woh musarrat teri har yaad hai ab bhi

dua jo mujhpe kuch aise bani

main kaabil kahin ho jaati thi

woh nazrein teri mujhse mili har kahin

farebi ye aise mere dil ko chura

dhadkane iski badha jaati thi

woh har pal tujhse milne ki

hasratein badi hoti thi

woh har pal tere paas hone se

targheebein dil mein badhti thi…



raahon se meri jo tu guzar jaaye

manzilon ke maayne kuch badal jaate thay

hothon se apne jo mera naam tu pukaare

kaano mein awaaz ki teri goonje reh jaati thi

kyu mera haath jab bhi tu thaame

saansein meri theher jaati thi?

kyu palat tu mujhko jab bhi dekhe

main palat yun tumse tadap jaati thi?

kyu beparwaahi tarkeebein sab teri

baar-baar mere dil ko behla

bayrahmi se isse tod jaati thi
