A Writer's Entrusted Reverie

If my words could hold fest for evermore,

Does it intensify rave

Over the indelible imprint I entrusted you with

Reiterating ethereal epiphany, solace and rumination?

Does it experience an ascent through the ticks and the throbs roaring in unison

As my hand paces through pages untouched

Struggling to outdistance the thoughts?

Does the universe bow in reverence to our resemblance

When we’re hopelessly devoted to the art of noticing?

Do they catch the glimpse ironically trivial to the common eye,

Ineptly label it alchemy being oblivious to the potency and profundity it holds?

‘Tis nothing but indifference’ you repeat for me

‘All willingly chose either the crevice or abyss of their universe to be.’
