A World Where….

By Angelina Jennifer

Once dead

person asked

“How is earth, as far as

I remember it was always masked”

I replied, “It is a world where

smiles do not show our happiness

rather it a mask to cover

our hidden sadness.

It is a world where

our notebooks and dairies

hold memories untold

rather than studies.

It is a world where

dance isn’t about graceful gain

rather it’s a form of portraying

untold pain.

It is a place where people

become writers not to show their skills

rather they write because no one listens

to them because they are busy paying bills.

Thus, earth is a

‘Place of Deception’

where there is no

 celebration.”
