Deus Ex Machina: You witnessed all the endings.

"If God gave you three wishes, what would you wish for?" The child psychologist asked the little boy. "I would ask for enough wishes to last me a lifetime; I would also ask God to never let me wish for immortality; and I would ask him to never let anything bad which I wished to come true". The little boy said. The child psychologist looked at the little boy with a slightly surprised and a slightly bemused expression. "I haven't heard something like that in ages, please, wish for something." "Really?" the boy asked. "Really", the therapist replied.

The little boy closed his eyes and said, "I wish for a real fire engine."
