"A Tale of True Friendship”

Alone I stood, with tears in my eyes,

Watching others laugh, under sunny skies.

Longing for a friend, to share in the fun,

But feeling like I was the only one.

As days turned to weeks, and weeks to years,

I held onto hope, through the silent tears.

Dreaming of a friend, with whom I'd share,

Life's joys and sorrows, without a care.

And then one day, when least expected,

You appeared in my life, unblemished, unaffected.

With laughter and kindness, you filled the void,

Turning loneliness into joy, like an asteroid.

Like siblings we became, bound by fate,

Sharing secrets and dreams, it was never too late.

Through thick and thin, we stood side by side,

Facing the world together, with arms open wide.

Now I know, that true friendship is rare,

But worth the wait, beyond compare.

For in you, my friend, I've found my soul,

A bond so strong, it makes me whole.
