A Tag on Life

Why everything comes with a price.

What burden must it be

Having to count every other eating slice.

What does being free really mean

When we live life on the edge

And a thread so thin.

How does one open an umbrella of heart,

Every time it starts to rain,

The veils of agony, offsets each vent.

Let us remove a tag from life,

Freeing everyone from a hanging knife.

How about putting bird on a stage,

What good wings are in a closed cage.
