A Stranger's Plea

By Stephen Deepak

I am lonely stranger, walking in my own strange ways,

And you ask me, brother, what I'm upto? do I have to say?

The times are so unruly, suspicious smells the air.

Each man at one at each one's throat

Is'it the prize to pay?

Chorus - Let the world be as it were, let it just be that way,

Let bygones, be sweet memories.

Why kick the ass the wrong way?

Let the world be a better place, better than we live

Let us sow the seeds of green, wipe out melancholy

Hate just beckons hate, my friend

Bloodshed is no scene to swear

Let love engulf our minds and souls,

And our hearts find embrace,

Let vengeance find no room here,

None must be a unwelcome guest.

Faith and hope must bond us,

Lets take a step each day.

Chorus - Let the world be as it were, let it just be that way,

Let bygones, be sweet memories.

Why kick the ass the wrong way?

Let the world be a better place, better than we live

Let us sow the seeds of green, wipe out melancholy

I'm just another stranger, let me walk in through the crowd.

And they who mean and know that, stop forcing me in one.

I am not the kind to spit one nor find a neck to squeeze.

I just a simple neat lad, with a clear heart at pace

Don't pull me into hate crimes, I'm far off from mischief.

Chorus - Let the world be as it were, let it just be that way,

Let bygones, be sweet memories.

Why kick the ass the wrong way?

Let the world be a better place, better than we live

Let us sow the seeds of green, wipe out melancholy
