A sprint of rediscovery

I run far away from the sun

Scared of its bright rays

Afraid it’ll allure again

Of warmth in guise of relentless pain

my eyes shined just as bright

I hadn’t sheltered any other sight

The warmth when melted my mind

Is now aching my soul a wager I once signed

Shall I befriend the wind

Which sprint and solaced me

Or is it another crony

Waiting just as merciless many

To lie in this solace of serein

My smile curtails in disdain

I ask of it , a drop to quench

As a covet , it frowned as I drenched

Where shall I go finding darkness

As I grow fretful until night sky’s fortress

How far till I lose breathe

Casting emptiness unable to unsheathe

My footsteps leaving me behind

Should I revisit the abandoned path

Un-time such thought came across

I shall perdure this cause before I pause

Can I slow down as I hobble

Not a bed of roses , being trivial

The sweat between my brows

Breaks the breathe of sky

Just as the broken window of vows and lies

I run miles along steep hollows

Finding myself again in the world of daylight

But undazed by god’s one more playwright

I shall run and run until

my inner ignite outshines the star’s bright
