A QUIET KIND OF LOVE

I don’t love u with fireworks or flame,

but with steady light that knows your name.

In silent moments, calm and true.

My heart feels most like home with you.

I love the way you listen close,

the kindness in the words you chose.

The way you make the world feel kind,

leaving softer thoughts inside my mind.

This love is patient, strong and real.

Not loud but deep in all I feel.

A promise whispered, not declared.

To always show you that I care.

And if the world grows cold or loud,

know my heart stands firm and proud

A quiet love, both brave and true,
