A Proper Evening

It was a proper evening with a drowning sun into the sea

I sat afar form the water as it could melt my feet

This orange colour of the sky reminds me of bigger picture

Endlessly huge beyond my sight questions my existence

Aware of my breathing I took peace in each

Continual voice of water and air, turned to speech

It told me, I’m the essence and requirement of this soil

It didn’t judge me with the shortcomings of my appearance, but my soul so bright

Says it, don’t weigh your contribution to the body parts that’s less

Don’t underestimate the power of your left

Grateful are those who could see the real light

Your heart burns orange just like the colour of my eyes

You’re just as beautiful, just as I

I’m the evening sky just like you gentle and kind

That soothes a person with its presence and delight

The other with affection of various kinds

And it drowned with me, similarly our nights

The escape left me with value of my life
