A ONE TOO MANY

A one too many days are now

A one too many days

The days in which we laughed and played

Are quickly vanishing over the sunset.

A one too many nights are now

A one too many nights

The nights where we loved and cried

Are quickly vanishing over the sunrise.

The days are short the nights are small

Togetherness that existed in them all

The hugs the kisses the morning breeze

Or the moonlit night sky

The stars that saw us embracing them

The birds that talked with us enticing them

The world where we lived and died

Is not coming back again.

The days are now going by

The nights are rushing to the end line

I can only feel the sunset and sunrise

Over the invisible horizon.

The world where we cried and kissed

The world where we found our eternal bliss

The world where you loved me alright

Is not coming back again.

A one too many days are now

A one too many nights.
