I saw a one-armed bus driver today who was also the conductor of his bus. (He didn't have a conductor so he collected the fare by himself right from his seat by asking passengers. He had only right arm which means it must have been quite a job for him to shift gears because the lever is on left.
He had a steering to operate, a gear lever to shift, taking money from passengers (most passenger took change too), and all of that just with his only hand. (His left arm was completely absent from his shoulder)
The height was when he lit a cigarette and started smoking too.
Meanwhile, he was constantly looking for passengers (dropping, and picking them up) carefully.
Also, the traffic in Jaipur (esp. in evening) is the worst. And he crossed 8 to 10 signals (while I was in bus) stopping at none, which either was his sheer calculation or a perfect coincidence.
Also, he sped up to his peak, whenever I saw a round signboard ahead on road which said "GO SLOW".
One of many 55 no. Route buses (private) in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Ps. The man had a plastic bowl attached ahead of his steering to collect money which was obviously open forever.
