A Miracle

The pain in me burning inside,

The sound of lighting striking,

Not a second goes by without a cry.

My heart aching,

Ready to burst,

Afraid to lose my sight.

Blood red tears,

Escaping from my eyes.

I can't keep up,

With the pressure of lies.

My head throbbing,

I lose control.

My leg has no role,

As it loses its support.

And once and for all I fall to the ground,

My eyes ready to give up,

As everything goes blurry,

And all I see was black,

Thinking it was my destiny.

Well for a second I thought,

That life is no more.

But a rush of power in me,

Told me not to give up.

I slowly get up,

Weaker than ever,

Maybe it was that power,

That told me to recover.

I gain strength,

To come back to life

Maybe this is what everyone calls,

A miracle .
