A Mindless Heart

Why is it that

Her words

The voice of her words

Her hummings

In random

The pranks she plays on me

Her name

The letters on her name

Seductive letters, aren’t they

The sudden mutes

And

Her spurts of laughter

Soft like

When you walk

Through the flooded streets

All these

Not making me

Feel like

I am becoming

Some

Thing

Every day but

Being

Every day

Some

Thing

Is it

Already spring?

Or

Is it

Just another sleepless night?
